                 ApacheDS X.0.Y: <y!=0> A Bug Fix Release

The Apache Directory team is pleased to announce the release of ApacheDS X.0.Y, 
a pure-Java LDAP server and more. Our primary vision is to build an enterprise 
directory server platform and its components where other Internet services 
snap in to store their data within the directory so they may be managed using 
LDAP. Those services include LDAP itself, DNS, DHCP, Change Password and Kerberos.

This release does not introduce new features but fixes many bugs reported in 
previous versions of the X.0 bug fix branch.  The following bugs have been 
fixed in this release:

This bug fix release as with all bug fix releases has been certified by the 
Open Group as a compliant LDAPv3 server.

The Apache Directory team is looking for more developers and of course users to
