Platform Information

Metro is a Java-based Web Services development framework that supports various W3C and WS-I standards for web services. Metro-based services can be deployed to, and hosted in GlassFish, a Java-based application server.

Implementation Status

The Metro implementation of the Stonehenge StockTrader Sample Application has been moved to the trunk. It currently contains an implementation of the StockTrader Client, the StockTrader Business Service, the StockTrader Order Processor Service, and the StockTrader Configuration Service. A version that implements claims based security is currently in the works.
