Import Notes

  • Obviously, I didn't write all these pages, I just imported them from the old Wiki, despite what the History/Info shows!
  • For the next couple of weeks, pages are liable to be moving around, as the import from the old wiki was from a flat structure but I'm moving a number of them into a hierarchical one.
  • The non-English page/pages didn't come through the converisons - Sorry!

Wiki Structure

  • I'm using a tree structure & the {children} macro in a number of places, so just add your new page below a section page to see it appear.
  • See Reference library and it's children (How to do things in Wicket, Forms, etc) to see example section pages
  • Use the {excerpt} macro to add a line of text to expand on the page name in the section page

Changes

  • A number of pages have been renamed, with some duplicates removed.
  • Many of Marty's Model & Component pages didn't convert & have been removed
    • They didn't convert as despite the notes on the original wiki, they were coded using the '=' as a top-level header.
Unfortunately, in line with many MediaWiki's, the converter didn't support that either!
    • It's not too much of a loss, as pretty much all that each had was a link to the SF javadoc, which will have needed to be updated in the future when the web-site moves to Apache.
  • I've created a Component template & label to help with replicating that setup in the future, but I'm loath to just add actual pages if all they're doing is linking to the JavaDoc - I can see what was intended, but personally I don't think it's the right way to go.
