A regular Town Hall survey and Dev Calls - initiated and overlooked by the PMC, are run regularly. They are operated by community members who take on the task.

  • The intent of those calls is to exchange information about what's going on in Airflow - from the user perspective and developer community.
  • The events are announced at the devlist.
  • No decisions are made during those calls. 
  • Anyone can participate in those meetings.
  • For technical reasons registration to the events might be needed - this allows to avoid spam. This migh make it necessary to record PII of attendees (email addresses/names) just for the purpose of that meeting.
  • There is no formal position or person responsible for running those event. As with everything ASF related, all individuals are given the opportunity to participate, but their influence is based on publicly earned merit.
  • Recordings are made available and published on Airflow wiki.
