Multiple IP Ranges for PODs (Non-Contiguous IP Ranges)

1       Background

Currently, in the Zone creation dialog, admins can only specify one IP address range for various traffic types. Depending on customer environment, they would want flexibility to define multiple IP Address ranges. See the table below.

2        Requirements

  • Provide users with the flexibility to specify multiple non-contiguous IP Ranges.
  • Functionality should be similar to other areas where multiple IP Ranges are already supported.
  • The ones highlighted in Blue would be higher priority (P1) than the ones highlighted in Red (P2) as they are related to Guest IP Addresses.
  • Support should be added for additional IP Ranges in the same subnet as well as a new subnet
  • Example might be
    • 70.70.70.1 – 70.70.70.200, 80.80.80.1 – 80.80.80.200
