  • Build relationships with organisations and groups that can be the source of new contributors to Apache.
  • Present and speak about Apache at their events
  • Promote Apache projects to them

How can we achieve it ?

  • On a regular basis (e.g yearly, six monthly, quarterly) review list of organisations and tools we want to target for the next 12 months.

Outreachy

Outreachy helps people from groups underrepresented in free and open source software get involved. Currently, internships are open internationally to women (cis and trans), trans men, and genderqueer people. Additionally, they are open to residents and nationals of the United States of any gender who are Black/African American, Hispanic/Latin@, American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, or Pacific Islander.

We are a community full of learners and sharers. Currently we held offline events in major cities in China including Beijing,Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Every time, there are excellent speakers to bring fresh ideas and a either workshop for young ladies to play robots and other technical gadgets or bootcamp for coding and programming.
