About Deltacloud API
Deltacloud provides the API server and drivers necessary for connecting to cloud providers. Deltacloud maintains long-term stability for scripts, tools and applications and backward compatibility across different versions. Using single API Deltacloud enables management of resources in different clouds. Start an instance on an internal cloud, then with the same code start another on EC2 or RHEV-M.

Please feel free to ask questions on our IRC channel or developer list - showing this kind of initiative will reflect well on your application.
The ideal applicant should have some experience writing Ruby code, and should be able to demonstrate that either by pointing us to code that was committed to another open-source project, or by sending a small contribution for Deltacloud. For example, a fix to an open bug in our JIRA bug tracker would be awesome, or adding a test to the suite of existing tests
Not having any Ruby experience won't disqualify you - just make sure you state clearly what your experience is and isn't. There are plenty of things that need to be done that do not involve any code.
