1. Discuss the EventMesh Serverless Workflow

  • Introduce the current Alibaba eventbridge, and the integrated serverless workflow function, which is different from the CNCF standard.

  • The official runtime product synapse that connects to serverless workflow is not mature enough. After communicating with the author of the product, version 0.2 will be released after a while. This product strongly relies on K8S and requires cluster deployment and .Net coding.

2. Discussion on Integration of Serverless Workflow Solution

  • Spring data flow can be considered first, and manual participation in service orchestration may not be supported, and it does not have serverless features. Understand usage scenarios and select models according to usage scenarios (Serverless workflow/Spring data workflow).
  • Huawei will open source the workflow engine before September 30.
  • For event filter/transformer integration planning, you can consider providing APIs to match different implementations.
