It would be great if you could keep your profile on the Apache Flex website up to date with your doings!

To update your profile, do the following :

  1. Do an SVN Checkout of https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/flex/site
  2. Open the trunk/content/about-people.cmsPage file
  3. Do a search for your Apache ID
  4. You should come to a block with your information. Your information starts at the <!- About -> tag, and ends at the next tag.
  • Update the team-about div tag with what you are working on, or what you like to do with Flex.
  • Link your social networks in the Social Icons section. We have icons for the following :

    • deviantart
    • dribbble
    • dropbox
    • evernote
    • facebook
    • forrst
    • github
    • googleplus
    • jolicloud
    • last-fm
    • linkedin
    • picasa
    • pintrest
    • rss

    • vimeo
    • wordpress
    • xing
    • yahoo
    • youtube
  • Update your photo. Commit a new photo in the trunk/content/images/headshots, and use your Apache ID as the filename. Update the link in your profile.
  1. Commit the changes to SVN. Wait about 30 seconds or a minute for BuildBot to rebuild the site.
  2. Check to see if your entry looks right in http://flex.staging.apache.org/about-people.html 
  3. Go to the CMS: https://cms.apache.org/flex/
  4. Click the "View flex-site-staging Builds" link. You should see your commit in the log.
  5. Click Publish Site. Put a message in the log, and wait for buildbot to push the changes to production.
