This page details dates of when main Jira main upgrades were performed, what version from and to, and if there were any issues along the way.
In conjunction with the Jira Plugin Upgrades page of which plugins are usually also updated both before and after a main Jira upgrade.

Note that we do not upgrade every released version but approximately every 6 months
