This is the home of the Apache Mynewt space.

Apache Mynewt offers a set of system software to enable core functionality and services on constrained Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

The core component is a real-time operating system suitable for resource constrained, embedded systems such as wearables, lightbulbs, door locks, door bells etc. It works on a variety of microcontroller architectures such as ARM Cortex-M and MIPs architectures. Built around the OS are middleware and utilities such as flash file system and rich, abstracted instrumentation across hardware and program tasks for consistent management and monitoring. Also available are network protocol software starting with a Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 (BLE 4.2) compliant stack.

A second aspect of the project is a unified tools framework for developers to compose and port the software easily to their devices, and enable system services for remote management.

The last piece of the project is a remote management tool to query, collect stats, configure, upgrade, and manage the devices remotely.
