The below list is meant to be a list of items that focusing on reducing the technical debt of the Apache NiFi project to give the opportunity to contributors to grow their contributions to the project.

For each item, it might require a Jira Issue to be filed and it is recommended to provide an initial description of the work to be done before starting an implementation in order to allow for an open discussion in the community and agree on the right approach.

  • Evaluate direct HTTP library implementation for Consume Twitter Processor
    The current library does not appear to be actively supported by X, which is concerning. This would involve some internal refactoring, and a strong knowledge of HTTP
