  1. Update DNS
    1. Modify normaltlps.txt and add the name of the podling to be created.
  2. Configure Mail
    1. Add the new $podling.apache.org to the rcpthosts list
    2. Add $podling.apache.org:apmail-$podling  to virtualdomains.
  3. Navigate https://whimsy.apache.org/roster/ppmc/  and look for the new podling by name
    1. The new podling name should be in red.
    2. There should be a Create LDAP record button (Dark Blue) in the top left corner of the page.
  4. Once the LDAP record has been created, notify the requestor that the podling has been created and can be managed via the self serve portal at https://infra.apache.org/
