Installing Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files

  1. Navigate to the Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files 6 download page.
  2. Download the archive jce_policy-6.zip.
  3. Extract jce\local_policy.jar and jce\US_export_policy.jar from the archive to the folder %JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib\security, overwriting the files already present in the directory.
