camel-eclipse
Available as of Camel 2.3
The camel-eclipse is a component which allows you to run Camel with Eclipse RCP. This component is needed due Eclipse classloading challenges. The component is a specialized Camel Pluggable Class Resolvers to remedy this.
The resolver is provided in the class org.apache.camel.component.eclipse.EclipsePackageScanClassResolver
in the camel-eclipse
jar file.
Using with Java DSL
You need to configure the resolver on the CamelContext which is done like this:
Code Block | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
| ||||
PackageScanClassResolver eclipseResolver = new EclipsePackageScanClassResolver(); CamelContext context = new DefaultCamelContext(); context.setPackageScanClassResolver(eclipseResolver); |
Using with Spring XML
When using Spring XML its just a matter of defining a spring bean with the Eclipse class resolver as shown:
Code Block | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
| ||||
<bean id="eclipseResolver" class="org.apache.camel.component.eclipse.EclipsePackageScanClassResolver"/> <camelContext id="camel" xmlns="http://camel.apache.org/schema/spring"> <route> <from uri="seda:start"/> <to uri="mock:result"/> </route> </camelContext> |
Dependencies
Maven users will need to add the following dependency to their pom.xml for this component:
Code Block | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
| ||||
<dependency> <groupId>org.apache.camel</groupId> <artifactId>camel-eclipse</artifactId> <version>x.x.x</version> <!-- use the same version as your Camel core version --> </dependency> |
