Preinstallation Steps

Before running the installer we recommend installing SUN's JVM. Although Triplesec runs on the 1.4.2 version of the JVM we recommend installing the 1.5 version available here.

Once you have downloaded and installed the JVM proceed to the next section.

Download and Install Triplesec

You can download the latest GUI based installer of Triplesec for Solaris Sparc or Intel here.

Then you can download and launch the installer like so on the sparc platform:

Then you can download and launch the installer like so on the Intele platform:

java -jar triplesec-0.7-solaris-i386-setup.jar

Once the installer starts just follow the steps of the wizard. The default settings are sufficient to get the server to install properly.
