For both Flash builder 4.6 and 4.7 one or more Apache Flex SDKs can be easily added and use by Flex projects.

- Click on Configure Flex SDKs click Add to add the new SDK you have just downloaded.
- Browse to the SDK location and click on open, the Flex SDK name will be automatically filled in. Change the name to "Apache Flex Nightly".
- Hit OK twice to remove the popup dialog boxes. Change the "Use a specific SDK" to be "Apache Flex Nightly".
- hit Ok, The project should recompile, but it best to do a clean project to be sure.
Note that currently with Flash Builder:
- Design mode doesn't work with Apache Flex and has been discontinued by Adobe.
- Flash Builder 4.6 may not create the HTML Flash Player detection templates correctly.
- Flash Builder 4.7 has a minor issue when creating a new application. A patch has been provided and Adobe is looking into this.
- It's recommended that you use merged into code as the framework linkage. Adobe doesn't sign the Apache Flex RSLs so they will not be cached by the Flash Player across domains. It will be cached domain by domain by normal browser caching.
