Free SMS account? For what?
Triplesec Server can use email or SMS to provision the OTP generator (Hauskeys Application) to user phones. When you download and install Triplesec Server you need to configure it with the First Start Configuration Wizard. While configuring the server it will ask you for an SMS account. You can just provide bogus values and you will not be able to use SMS for provisioning.
Safehaus provides a free SMS service for testing Triplesec Server. SMS is much more convenient for getting applications to install on cell phones so it's a nice service to have.
How many SMS messages can I send?
You'll be able to send 9 free messages to provision 3 accounts to any mobile number within the United States.
Can I send text messages to international numbers?
Unfortunately we do not have international service at this point in time. International messaging will be setup in the near future so monitor this page.
