If one of the Dependencies is down either for scheduled maintenance or an extended period, builds on Continuum should be turned off to prevent unnecessary error notifications being generated.
The following options are available:
- Alter the cron for the schedules in Continuum's web interface to black out the period of scheduled maintenance
- Disable each schedule in Continuum's web interface to turn them off indefinitely
- As a last resort, the Continuum server can be shut down (see Managing Continuum)
The first two options require System administrator privileges on the web interface. The last option requires root access on vmbuild. See Current volunteers and administrators for a list of relevant individuals to contact, or contact the infrastructure lists.
