Apache Geronimo Board Report

The community has had an active on the dev and user mailing lists. There have been multiple releases, including releases of Geronimo Server 2.1.7 and 2.2.1. Also, the community is nearing the completion of a 3.0-M2 release which will be Java EE 6 Web Profile compatible. One new committer was added. Also, several students have begun to participate in the Geronimo

Transaction Manager 2.2, 2.2.1, and 3.1 (October/November/December), EJB 3.1, EL 2.2, JASPIC 1.1.1, Server 2.1.7, 2.2.1 (November, December), Samples/Daytrader 2.1.7 (December), Bundle Components Axiom, Axis2, JSON, Scout (December/January), Eclipse Plugin 2.1.7 and 2.2.1 (December, January).

JUGs and Conferences

There was a Geronimo track at ApacheCon NA 2010. The three Geronimo talks were presented by Kevan Miller, Jarek Gawor, and Lennart Jorelid.
