Which OS LDAP server should you use ?
Abstract
Learn about the advantages and disadvantages of each LDAP server and it's suitability with respect to your needs.
Specifically we focus on ApacheDS which is written in Java, is embeddable or usable as a standalone server. ApacheDS is a flexible and powerful solution with great performance however with advantages and disadvantages.
The first part of the presentation will provide you with an overview of the advantages of using ADS over other OSS LDAP servers as well as cover the disadvantages.
The second part will focus on comparing the performance of all three products.
