An RPM for Triplesec has been built to enable headless installation of Triplesec. Installation is simple using the Redhat Package Manager.
Preinstallation Steps
Before running the installer we recommend installing SUN's JDK using the RPM package. Although Triplesec runs on the 1.4.2 version of the JDK we recommend installing the 5.0 version available here. LDAP SSL is only available when using the 5.0 JVM.
Once you have downloaded and installed the JVM RPM proceed to the next section.
Download and Install Triplesec
You can download the RPM for Triplesec here. If you need to, you can download the RPM using wget onto the host you're going to install onto like so:
wget http://dist.safehaus.org/triplesec/0.7/triplesec-0.7-linux-i386.rpm
After downloading the file you can install it using the Redhat Package Manager with the -i switch:
rpm -i triplesec-0.7-linux.i386.rpm
If you are installing previous versions of Triplesec Server or newer versions simply substitute the version numbers.
