A GUI based installer can be used for installing on Linux. A valid JVM must be installed before proceeding.
Preinstallation Steps
Before running the installer we recommend installing SUN's JVM. Although Triplesec runs on the 1.4.2 version of the JVM we recommend installing the 5.0 version available here. LDAP SSL is only available when using the 5.0 version.
Once you have downloaded and installed the JVM proceed to the next section.
Download and Install Triplesec
You can download the GUI installer for Triplesec here.
You can download and launch the installer like so:
wget http://dist.safehaus.org/triplesec/0.7/triplesec-0.7-linux-i386-setup.jar java -jar triplesec-0.7-linux-i386-setup.jar
Once the installer starts just follow the steps of the wizard. The default settings are sufficient to get the server to install properly.
