To perform an initial checkout of your Sling repository, execute
vlt --credentials admin:admin co http://localhost:8080/server/default/jcr:root/ .
where /server is the path where the org.apache.sling.jcr.davex.impl.servlets.SlingDavExServlet is mounted.
