Sometimes there are release specific variations of the installation procedures. These exceptions are listed in this section.
5/5/17 - Installation of MADlib 1.11 on PostgreSQL on OSX
The madpack installation tool located in
/usr/local/madlib/bin/madpack will not install 1.11 due to a soft link issue, even though 1.11 has been downloaded.
Instead, use /usr/local/madlib/Versions/1.11/bin/madpack to do the installation or upgrade.
