Apache Roller is a full-featured, Java-based weblogging package that works well on Tomcat and MySQL, and is also known to run on other servers and databases.

Since the last report the project has made a second release candidate available for Roller 5.0 ( http://s.apache.org/apacheroller50rc2). Changes have been limited to bug fixes and small improvements. Recently some testing has revealed that the way we include OpenJPA in Roller may cause problems on some non-Tomcat app servers and we're discussing ways to ensure that Roller can run on the widest possible set of app servers.
