Summary

The 4.0.0-incubating release was announced on 6 November 2012.

The 4.0.1-incubating release was announced on 12 February 2013.

The 4.0 branch is the first developed and released under the Apache Incubator, following CloudStack's entrance to the Incubator in April 2012. Prior to that, CloudStack was a project/product developed by Citrix Systems, following the purchase of Cloud.com (formerly VMOps).
