All the existing NetBeans mailing lists must be migrated over to Apache.
The table bellow has a rough estimate of the weekly traffic for each of the mailing lists and a suggested next action. Ideally, the action will also apply to the mirror forums.netbeans.org
Actions:
READ-ONLY: The mailing list SHOULD immediately be closed. A message SHOULD be sent to the mailing lists explaining the list is closed and a pointer to the corresponding Apache mailing list. The archive an everything else MUST still be kept. Any message sent by existing list subscribers SHOULD receive an automated reply with the same explanation and pointer to the Apache mailing list.
ORDERLY MIGRATION: The mailing list MUST be kept as is but a periodic message SHOULD be sent to the list explaining the list is deprecated with a pointer to the corresponding Apache mailing list. The archive an everything else MUST still be kept.
