A message SHOULD be sent to the mailing lists explaining the list is closed and a pointer to the corresponding Apache mailing list. The archive an everything else MUST still be kept. Any message sent by existing list subscribers SHOULD receive an automated message with the same explanation and pointer to the Apache mailing list.
